How to opt out of Amazon FBA Multiple Destinations Program

Over the last few months Amazon has quietly (and sneakily) enrolled thousands of sellers into a new program of theirs called the Multiple Destinations Program.

What is the Multiple Destinations Program you ask?

It is something new from Amazon that will cause your shipments to get split to multiple locations in exchange for a small fee discount.

While some sellers may prefer the discount, for a vast majority of sellers (95%+), having to ship your FBA shipments to 5-10 different warehouses has become a logistical and financial nightmare.

The crazy thing about all this, is that Amazon probably enrolled YOU without even telling you they did!

Have you seen an increasingly large numbers of splits of the last few weeks??

If so, chances are you’ve been secretly enrolled against your will.

Luckily, I’m coming through with this email to show you how to opt out of the program.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Open a case with Amazon Seller Support. Tell them you are writing to see if you have been enrolled in the Multiple Destinations Program, and if so, that you would like to OPT OUT of it!

2. Tell them you would like written confirmation that you have been removed from this program.

3. Send another email to “fba-ops-mipo@Amazon.com”. Please include your merchant token / seller ID in the body of the email, and state that you wish you opt out of the Multiple Destinations Program. (To find your merchant token, from Seller Central > Settings drop-down menu > “account info” > In the “business information” section, select “merchant token”.)

After opting out of the program you should see the number of splits greatly reduced.

Here you can see a screenshot of the response you may get from Amazon:
