Submissions to the Product Assurance Team are getting stuck in the Blacklog

Recently, Amazon started requiring sellers to submit different types of conformity documents for products ranging from jewelry to toys across their European and American marketplaces.

Requests for documents can be found under “Product Compliance Requests” within the Account Health page and sellers who fail to address them in a timely manner will find their listings blocked.

Even if you submit your documents or information in time, you will most likely end up waiting for a response or acknowledgement from Amazon for weeks.

Here is a response from Amazon, which confirms that a submission was received, but its processing might be delayed due to a high volume of applications.

This response was eventually received two weeks later, confirming that the seller can continue selling the items in question:

So, if you received one or maybe a few hundreds of these requests for Documents, definitely respond as soon as possible to ensure that your application gets processed in time.
