[whohit]Seattle’s Capitol Hill becomes autonomous zone[/whohit]Seattle was the first city in the USA where I lived but it immediately impressed me by it’s uniqueness, high level of living standard and community spirit.

I still haven’t posted a single YouTube video or article describing my typical daily life in the city and presenting some of my findings (which I will definitely do later), but the current situation encouraged me to write at least one blog article to let you know what is happening.

Protests, rallies and demonstrations happen in Seattle every day. Publicly expressing their opinions is very popular for Seattleites.

These days, as the “Black Lives Matter” movement is affecting the world, the community of Capitol Hill citizens decided to convert their neighborhood into an autonomous zone where police isn’t allowed.

All Capitol Hill police officers fled their station on Monday 8.June 2020, abandoning it for the protesters to take over.
