This week, Amazon e-mailed their third party sellers doing business on the Canadian marketplace alerting them about specific ASINs going to be removed under their over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and/or natural health products (NHP) policy.
None of the ASINs listed were previously enforced, so it appears like Amazon is now starting to enforce the mentioned policy, which was previously overlooked.
According to the e-mail, Starting September 30, 2022, affected ASINs will be removed from the Amazon.ca store. A link to the list of affected ASINs is mentioned is accessible at the bottom of the email.
The ASINs listed in the e-mail sent to a specific seller who received it were sold and removed from their inventory years ago and did not fall into the prohibited category.
