Starting from July 1, 2023, there will be a change in how the non-refundable service fee for the EPR registration service is handled. This change affects the timing of when the fee becomes payable, and I believe it’s essential for all of us to be aware of this adjustment.
Up until now, the registration fee was due once your application documents had been submitted to the respective Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) for registration. However, moving forward, the fee will be payable once you have provided the first document to our service providers. This modification aims to streamline the process and provide us with greater clarity and convenience.
For those of you who have already signed up for any category before July 1, 2023, the previous trigger point will still apply. This means you will need to pay the registration fee once your application documents have been submitted to the PROs for registration.
However, if you decide to enroll in a new category on or after July 1, 2023, the new trigger point will be applicable. In this case, the registration fee will be due once you have provided the first document to our service providers. It’s important to review the terms and conditions associated with this change to fully understand the new payment timeline.
