The times when third party Amazon sellers were suspended over their store being related to another account which may not be used to sell on the platform, without being able to identify the source of the link are now apparently long gone.
Affected sellers are reporting getting detailed information by Amazon, which contain comments about their related account in question, including its exact creation date or Buyer Account status, such as “Normal”.
The creation date is not limited to year or month, but includes the date, hour, minute and even the second of opening, along with timezone!
While the related Seller Account is obviously in a suspended status, Amazon will also let you know its Buyer Account Status, which can vary.
A regular active Buyer Account is in a “Normal” status, but dormant accounts can be “Suppressed”. Accounts which violated Amazon’s policies are marked as “Fraudulent”.
