As I previously informed you in my previous article dated 25.February, Amazon introduced a new selling category called “Cycling Accessories”.
All affected products will have a reduced selling fee. Here you can read the full notice from the Amazon Seller Central regarding the matter:

| Referral fee reduction for cycling accessories To help your business, we are creating a new Cycling Accessories category and lowering the referral fee for items sold in this category. Effective April 1, 2021, the referral fee will be 8% of the total sales price. The previous fee was 15% of the total sales price. The total sales price is the price paid by the buyer, including item price and any shipping or gift-wrap charges. The following product types are included in the Cycling Accessories category: Bike backpacks, bags and panniers Bike bells Bike covers Bike locks (cable, chain, combination, folding, mount) Bike mirrors Bike pumps Bike racks and stands Bike trainers Bottle cages Fenders Quick releases Rim bands Saddle covers Training wheels Valve caps The following sub-categories related to cycling are not classified as Cycling Accessories and will remain under the broader Sports & Outdoor category: Bike Tools & Equipment (such as tool kits, repair kits, work stands, cleaners, greases, hand tools) Bikes Clothing Bike Components & Parts (such as wheels, pedals, brakes, batteries, handlebars, grips) Glasses Helmets & Helmet Accessories Lights & Reflectors (such as headlights, tail lights, helmet lights) Protective Gear Cycling Shoes |
