Over the past year, Amazon has been steadily increasing the amount and frequency of their non-critical phone calls, which are not intended to inform you about a threat of a potential suspension or requesting you to provide a Plan of Action.
Now, Amazon’s Account Health Team will call you as frequently as several times a week, merely educating you how to locate the Account Health Dashboard and how to address any violations, which may negatively impact your standing.
This is especially the case when you are doing business across multiple different international Amazon marketplaces.
However, what Amazon doesn’t realize is that most sellers are getting a heart attack after suddenly receiving a phone call from an unknown foreign number, only to be asked the infamous ”Are you tho owner of Selling Account XXX…..?”
It would be really helpful if Amazon e-mailed sellers prior to each phone call and announced its purpose, rather than surprising them and causing fear.
