US Government Blacklists Five International Amazon Marketplaces

[whohit]US Government Blacklists Five International Amazon Marketplaces[/whohit]Five of Amazon’s foreign websites have been placed on a blacklist by the Trump administration.

According to the US trade representative’s office, company’s UK, Germany, France, India and Canada sites facilitated the sale of counterfeit and pirated products.

This action was the result of complaints from US businesses over the sale of fake goods.

While the list carries no legal weight, it puts the spotlight on those companies included on it, especially when they are household names like Amazon.

Whilst I welcome this, in my experience, Ebay is a 1000 times worse for counterfeits. Nearly always Chinese sellers pumping out counterfeits on an industrial scale.
