Thousands of third party Amazon sellers who are enrolled in the Fulfilled by Amazon program received notices, alerting them of their inventory being incorrectly disposed, rather than returned to their address on file.
Disposed inventory doesn’t necessarily end up destroyed, but you can find it being resold as “Used – Like new” under Amazon’s Warehouse Deals stores.
This time, Amazon correctly identified the error and will be reimbursing all affected sellers.
