Amazon will dropship your items across different global marketplaces

Recently, Amazon announced that they will be expanding deals consisting of local FBA inventory being offered and sold on international Amazon marketplaces globally. This means that if you list a product on the Amazon US marketplace and have the program enabled, Amazon will create listings across all of their global marketplaces on different continents.

While this sounds like an exciting opportunity, it may get you into trouble if you are offering items which come with a strict resale license, limiting you to only trade on specific Amazon marketplaces. In such case, you need to ensure that this feature is disabled in your Seller Account.

Expanding your deals experience

Hello,

You are currently participating in a program where Amazon can purchase your FBA products and sell them on other Amazon stores. We are excited to inform you that we are now expanding the program where your local deals will be replicated globally.

How the program works:
– Amazon can translate, price, and list your products on other Amazon stores, including the UK, EU, and other countries where you currently do not list the product. When a
customer in the relevant Amazon store buys the offer, Amazon instantly buys the product from you locally, and arranges shipment to the customer in that store.
– Like any domestic sale, you will be paid the product price that you have set. There are no additional costs for you and you do not need to worry about cross-border shipping, export, or additional support.
– If the customer returns your product, we will add it to your inventory pool, same as a domestic return. You will be able to file removal orders for these returns similar to any other domestic return.
– If Amazon sells your products, we can issue self-billed invoices (and credit notes for returns) on your behalf.

There’s no action for you to take and there are no additional fees for this benefit. To learn more, go to “Allow Amazon to buy my products to sell globally”:

If you prefer not to have your deals replicated to other Amazon stores, you can opt out any time.
1. To opt out, go to “Fulfillment by Amazon settings”: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/fba/settings/index.html#/
2. Select “Disable” next to “Allow Amazon to replicate my deal experience globally” for each store.
