[whohit]Amazon USA to make third party seller’s business details public starting September 2020[/whohit]Starting 1.September 2020, third party sellers on Amazon’s North American platform will no longer be able to keep their business details – such as full name, address, phone number hidden.
Instead, they will be published on each merchant’s storefront page, in the same way how it has always been the case on international marketplaces, where doing so is mandatory by local law.
While the sudden change caused a significant outrage across the Amazon Seller Community, it will make it easier for sellers to take a legal action against abusive users who were previously able to remain anonymous.
