Amazon PPC Strategies for listings during Q4

We all want to start getting sales from day 1 and for that purpose, we run a marketing campaign to showcase our best-developed product after detailed research. We need to be very careful about putting money on advertising. Here are some advance Amazon PPC strategies among all others.

1. Target ASINs inferior to yours:

This is a bonus point we all can have. List down all potential ASINs whose reviews or prices are not better than yours. Think of this way, all these inferior ASIN, which are sponsored with a hefty budget you can simply target them and drive out their customers to your’s listing by showing less price or/and high reviews.

Note: (Make Sure, Your listing must be well optimized to drive customers of others to your page).

2. Target keywords in other languages (like Spanish):

Try to target the most relevant keywords in other languages. Like buyer do search on amazon in their native language. So try google translate and run Phrase Match PPC on it. As the search volume would be low for this because no one will be targeting that search term and you will be leading in the far less competition.

3. Splitting Auto Campaign:

As a rule, running an auto campaign in the start is mandatory on us. So the trick is to try to run the Auto campaign separate for each match type such as Close match, Loose match, Substitutes and separate for complements. In that way, we are in full control and can optimize the particular match type as per results.

Note : Amazon A9 performs well for the small campaign structures.

4. Category Targeting & Filtering Bad Competition:

Set another campaign for category targeting in the manual campaign. Try to search for a couple of relevant subcategories and Refine it further for bad/inferior competition. So in this way, we don’t just target a single inferior ASIN but the whole category/ competitors who are not doing better than us. This is just an healthy ACOS hack and a lot of sellers don’t do that.

5. Target Adjacent/ Complementary categories:

Definitely, you want to showcase your product on other stores that are not your competitors but selling products that complement yours. Like mostly ” formal Shirts ” compliments tie. This is another brilliant way to get customers of big giants if you compliment them.

So Yes, we don’t start with a single or few but multiple campaigns with proper planning and strategy as some are listed above, There’s a lot more that I’ll be sharing & updating time by time.
