According to a recent announcement, Amazon’s In-Stock Head Start will now predict which temporarily out-of-stock products are most likely to come back in stock before a shipment has been created.
In-Stock Head Start currently lets customers find and buy your temporarily out-of-stock products once you have created a shipment for those products.
With the expansion, you might see higher sales for temporarily out-of-stock products. The sales rank of those products will also be protected when they are temporarily out of stock.
