As new international Amazon marketplaces started emerging once in a few months, starting with Australia and continuing with United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia or Singapore, many third party Amazon sellers struggled with their attempts to expand without risking a suspension due to related accounts.

As everyone knows, Amazon allows sellers to operate a single Seller Account, unless obtaining a prior permission from the Seller Performance for an additional store.

However, when talking about international marketplaces, it has never been clear enough, which of them should be operated under a single login and which separately.

Many European Amazon Sellers were suspended after registering a Seller Account on the United Arab Emirates site using a different e-mail address, allegedly for opening a duplicate account.

So how you can tell where you should register using the same e-mail address and where it will be necessary to maintain a separate login?

A recent wording in Amazon’s deactivation notices revealed a long-hidden arrangement of marketplaces, which are viewed as regions and require a single login:

It states that “Americas region” includes the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil marketplaces.

“Europe, Middle East and India region“ includes the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and India.

“Far East region” includes Japan, Australia and Singapore.

This means, that opening additional accounts within any of the above mentioned regions can trigger a suspension and you should instead use the credentials of your existing account in other marketplaces.
