π“π«πšπ§π¬π©πšπ«πžπ§πœπ² is a program that is created by amazon to help deal with counterfeit goods on the platform and the program allows each seller to guarantee that the customer is receiving an authentic product by placing a 𝐐𝐑 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 on their product. Each of these QR codes is unique and a customer can scan the code to see that it has a 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐀 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐀 and that this is an authentic product and amazon will also be scanning the QR code inside of their fulfillment warehouses to make sure that they are not sending out counterfeit goods to the end customer.

To get into the π€π¦πšπ³π¨π§ π“π«πšπ§π¬π©πšπ«πžπ§πœπ² 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, you first need to enroll in the program before creating 𝐐𝐑 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 and then you can choose to enroll certain products or you can enroll your entire catalog and create separate QR codes for each one. You can choose to enroll some of your products or your full catalog, however, you will need a separate QR code for each product.

Once you’ve enrolled your product and have the QR code, you can provide them to your manufacturer for them to start placing the QR codes on each product packaging and this can also help you down the road to identify any leaks in your supply chain without having to go through the process of product serialization. This is actually an alternative to product serialization

So, by doing this you can make sure that if a seller is violating a mapping agreement down the road.

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩π₯𝐞, you can do a test buy to see where that product is, whether it has the QR code on it, and if it doesn’t have the QR code, you can report it to amazon as a counterfeit. Amazon will shut down that product, probably shut down that seller too and you don’t have to worry about them listing on your product listings with products that are not guaranteed.

To be authentic, each QR code is scannable by a customer by using the Amazon shopping app or a specific transparency app that amazon has created as well they can use either to verify the authenticity and QR codes will also be used within the fulfillment center so not only will it be used to ensure that customers are not receiving counterfeit goods but it is also used to ensure that Amazon is not receiving counterfeit goods from other sellers that are using their fulfillment centers.

So, as the product is checked in, the products will be checked and if it’s fake, amazon’s going to investigate and probably shut down that seller thus preventing a lot of headaches for you.
